Summary of work
MnDOT plans to replace the eastbound I-90 bridge over Freeborn County Road 46. We'll also make improvements on the eastbound exit ramp.
The bridge was built in 1967 and has deteriorated to a point where it should be replaced. The team is looking into options to improve driver experience while exiting the freeway.
Crossovers will constructed in 2028 and the bridge replacement will occur in 2029.
