Get ready for an unforgettable day of aviation excitement. Please join us on June 14, 2025 to celebrate aviation’s rich history and inspire future generations in the Alexandria Lakes area. The day will kick off with a fly-in breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon, where pilots from various regions will converge to showcase their remarkable aircraft. Attendees, whether flying or driving in, will have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of airplanes, from vintage classics to modern marvels, all while mingling with the passionate pilots behind the controls. As the day progresses, the airshow will take center stage at 1pm, captivating the audience with breathtaking aerial acrobatics and precision maneuvers showcased by skilled performers. 1962 BELL UH-1H "Huey"
Join us for the landing and takeoff at Airlake of what is believed to be the world's oldest flying UH-1D/H today, with active Vietnam combat hours between 1966 & 1967, followed by active flight school training at Hunter Army Airfield. This warbird will be making a special appearance at this years Lions Fly-In Breakfast. This Huey spent time as a movie star and was purchased by Combat Helicopters in 2015, the last 9 years and approximately 700 hours of use have been spent honoring Veterans throughout the Midwest.

Paint the Plow
