Hwy 2 Solway Township construction meeting April 21
DULUTH, Minn. –On Tuesday, April 21, at 5 p.m., the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding an information meeting about construction occurring this year on Hhwy 2 between Highway 194 and Midway Road at the Solway Town Hall (4029 Munger Shaw Rd, Cloquet, MN 55720).
This project will resurface 8.35 miles of Hwy 2 and construct new turn lanes. A detour for through traffic will be implemented on Highway 194 and Midway Road. Local access will be maintained for businesses and residents. Construction is expected to begin in early June 2026 and last until August 2026.
