Highway 61/London Road tree removal begins Feb. 16

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting tree removal on Highway 61/London Road in Duluth on Feb. 16. Trees being removed are located in the MnDOT right of way and in construction easements. This work is in advance of construction that is expected to begin in April.

When tree clearing is occurring, motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures. Work will occur in multiple waves and is expected to be complete by early April.
