MnDOT invites public to open houses for Highway 10 St. Cloud to Little Falls Corridor Study
St. Cloud, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is studying Highway 10 from St. Cloud to Little Falls to identify future safety and access needs along the 30-mile corridor. The study will analyze the corridor's current and future pavement conditions, maintenance operations, safety needs, land use and development, as well as demographics.
MnDOT is seeking public input for the corridor at three open house-style meetings during the first week of December.
MnDOT invites the public to attend any of the following open houses:
- Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 2-6 p.m. at Royalton City Hall (12 N Birch St, Royalton, MN 56373)
- Thursday, Dec. 4 from 7-9 a.m. at Watab Town Hall (660 75th St NW, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379)
- Thursday, Dec. 4 from 3-6 p.m. at Copper Kitchen* (15 US-10 E, St Cloud, MN 56304)
*Copper Kitchen’s restaurant will not be open for food service
The same information will be available at all locations. There will not be a formal presentation, so the public can attend at any time during the open houses to ask questions and share feedback.
Within the corridor, numerous at-grade crossings create challenges for left-turn movements, while traffic signals in Royalton and St. Cloud cause safety and mobility issues. For more information, visit the project website: talk.dot.state.mn.us/hwy-10-study-st-cloud-to-little-falls.
