Hwy 11/71 International Falls corridor planning open house Sept. 16
DULUTH, Minn. –The Minnesota Department of Transportation is inviting the public to attend an open house on Sept. 16 at the Backus Community Center to give feedback about the Hwy 11/71 corridor in International Falls. The study area is between the intersection of Koochiching County Road 91 and Hwy 53/Second Avenue.
MnDOT will host the event at 5 p.m. with a short presentation at 5:15 p.m. at the Backus Community Center (900 5th St, International Falls, MN 56649). The project team will be available to hear feedback and answer questions.
The purpose of the study is to create a common vision and guidance for improving safety and efficiency for all users of the corridor. To leave feedback about the corridor and to learn more, please visit Hwy-11-71-international-falls-corridor-study.
