Nighttime I-90 ramp closures planned; possible traffic congestion expected near Eyota during Sept. 23 concert

EYOTA, Minn. – Motorists on Interstate 90 will encounter off-ramp closures at Highway 42 (Exit 224) from 9 p.m. to midnight, Sept. 23 to accommodate traffic departing from the Luke Bryan Farm Tour concert in Eyota, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Motorists near Eyota can also expect possible traffic congestion on Highway 14, Highway 42 and I-90.

The eastbound and westbound I-90 off-ramps will be closed for the three-hour period late in the evening. On-ramps to I-90 at Highway 42 will remain open

If attending the Luke Bryan Farm Tour concert, please follow traffic signs and directions to available parking areas. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has information to help guide concert attendees on parking and traffic flow to ensure a safe visit.

Safety

  • MnDOT encourages concert goers to use ride-share or other transportation to get to and from the concert entrance. Follow established routes when walking to and from the venue.
  • No parking is allowed along state highways near the concert venue.
  • Consult the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page for traffic plans for the event.
