Public meeting set for Sept. 27 for the Hwy 57 Mantorville reconstruction project

MANTORVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to attend a public meeting on Sept. 27 to learn more about the Highway 57 Mantorville reconstruction project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The meeting will be held in person from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Dodge County Government Services building, 721 N. Main St., Mantorville. Please use the entrance on the southside of the building. Attendees will learn about the 2024 construction project and provide feedback on potential issues or concerns that the project team should know about during project planning. A formal presentation will start at 6 p.m.

MnDOT plans to remove the entire road and replace it with new materials, curb, gutter, sidewalks and lighting. During that time, the City of Mantorville will also replace sanitary sewer, water mains and storm sewer utilities.

To learn more about the project, visit the MnDOT project website at mndot.gov/d6/projects/hwy-57/index.html, where you can sign up for email and text message updates, review information, and submit comments and questions.

Olmsted County and MnDOT invite and encourage participation by all. If you need an ASL, foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
