Highway 59 resurfacing project in Marshall begins Sept. 18

WILLMAR, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will resurface Highway 59 in Marshall from A Street to H Street beginning Sept. 18. Work is scheduled to take ten working days, weather permitting.

Work will take place under traffic and no detour is required. Travelers can expect alternating lane closures with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. Brief delays and intersection closures are possible.

Benefits of the project include a smoother road surface. Duininck, Inc., is the contractor, and the project cost is approximately $498,000.
