Hwy 2 detour at Hwy 194 starts August 30
DULUTH, Minn. – Minnesota Department of Transportation will be installing a detour of Highway 2 on August 30. Westbound and eastbound traffic will be detoured on Highway 194 to Midway Road. County Road 46/Saginaw Road will also reopen to the roundabout. A detour map can be found on the project website here: http://www.dot.state.mn.us/d1/projects/hwy-194-hwy-2/index.html .
This closure is to allow for the removal of the bypass at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 194 and construction of the final leg of the roundabout. The detour is expected to last for four weeks.
