Eastbound I-94 ramp closure in Washington County begins August 28

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the ramp from eastbound Interstate 94 to Highway 95/St. Croix Trail in Lakeland will close on Aug. 28.

Beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, the exit ramp from eastbound I-94 to Highway 95/St. Croix Trail will be closed to traffic until Monday, Sept. 18.

Motorists can bypass the ramp closure by using eastbound I-94, Manning Avenue, Hudson Road S. and Highway 95/St. Croix Trail. The ramp closure is necessary to allow construction crews to pave the eastbound lanes of I-94 through this area.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones where workers are present.

MnDOT will be resurfacing the pavement and making other improvements to I-94 between Highway 120/Century Avenue and the St. Croix River through fall 2024.
