Southbound I-35 to close overnight through Twin Ports Interchange

DULUTH, Minn. – Minnesota Department of Transportation crews will close southbound I-35 between Garfield Avenue and 27th Avenue West from Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 9 p.m. through Thursday, Aug. 24, at 3 a.m. Detouring southbound traffic will take the 5th Avenue West/ Lake Avenue exit and follow city streets. Currently I-35 traffic is in two-lane, two-way configuration on the northbound side. The southbound off ramp to 27th Avenue West will also be closed.
