Pedestrian/bicycle sidewalk, ADA improvements begin Monday, August 14 on Hwy 3/Robert Street in West St. Paul

Roseville, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin repairing sidewalks and curb ramps along Highway 3/Robert Street from Annapolis Street to Mendota Road in West St. Paul beginning Monday, Aug. 14. The improvements will upgrade these areas to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Construction crews will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday.
During the project, motorists will find occasional shoulder and lane restrictions. Pedestrians and bicyclists will encounter short-term sidewalk closures and alternate routes during repairs to sidewalks and ramps.

Work will begin on the west side of the highway at the intersection of Robert Street and Annapolis Street and then move south as work is completed.

Weather permitting, work will be completed by mid-September.
