County Road 9 and Nathan Lane/Lancaster Lane intersection closure in Plymouth begins August 7
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Beginning Monday, August 7, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the intersection of County Road 9 and Nathan Lane/Lancaster Lane in the City of Plymouth. This closure is necessary so construction crews can begin work to replace the signal system and make utility improvements. The intersection will remain closed through early fall.
During this closure, motorists can use the following detours:
- Nathan Lane detour: Zachary Lane to Schmidt Lake Road to Nathan Lane
- Lancaster Lane detour: Zachary Lane to 36th Avenue North to Lancaster Lane
Starting in late August, MnDOT will also close the intersection at County Road 9 and Gettysburg Avenue through early fall to replace the signal system and make utility improvements.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slowdown in work zones where workers are present.
