Highway 61 Silver Creek paving to occur July 19 and 20

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be paving on Highway 61 at Silver Creek on July 19 and 20. Paving will occur on mainline Highway 61 and at the realignment of Silver Cliff Road. Traffic will remain uninterrupted on the current bypass for most of the work; however, there will be times of intermittent flagging. Traffic stoppage will be limited to ten minutes. If inclement weather occurs on Wednesday, July 19, work will occur on Thursday, July 20 and Friday, July 21.
