Brunswick Hwy 70 and Kanabec County Road 11 intersection becomes all-way stop

BAXTER, Minn.— Crews will install an all-way stop at the intersection of Highway 70 and Kanabec County Road 11 (Mahogany Street), just north of Brunswick, on Thursday, July 13, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

To increase safety at the intersection, MnDOT is changing the traffic control from a two-way stop to a four-way stop. Signs and pavement markings along Highway 70 will be installed to accommodate the change; stop signs already exist at the County Road 11 portion of the intersection. Signs will be in placed in advance of all approaches to the intersection to warn drivers of this change.

Drivers should use caution when driving through the intersection while the changeover process is happening.
