Portion of Hwy 29 closed in Benson for road repairs
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Highway 29 in Benson will encounter a temporary closure at the intersection of Highway 29 and Wisconsin Avenue, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Traffic is being detoured to city streets while the City of Benson repairs a void in the road.
The road will reopen in this area once the repairs have been completed.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
