Hwy 2 paving at Hwy 33 to start June 23

DULUTH, Minn. –>Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin milling and paving operations on Highway 2 at Highway 33 on June 23. Work will begin with milling on eastbound and westbound inside lanes and turn lanes and followed by paving. Motorists should expect lane closures and flagging operations.

A detour of the Highway 33 ramps will be required on June 28 and 29. Traffic will be detoured on to Old Highway 33. All work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 30.
