MnDOT releases draft Minnesota State Aviation System Plan for public review, comments

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites Minnesota residents, businesses and all aviation stakeholders to review and comment on the draft Minnesota State Aviation System Plan. The MnSASP provides an overview and assessment of the public airport system’s current performance, as well as guidance for future development. Public comments will be used to develop the final MnSASP and help guide future investments and decisions for Minnesota’s public-use commercial service and general aviation airports.

Minnesota is home to a diverse network of 133 publicly owned, public-use commercial service and general aviation airports. Those airports are supported by MnDOT’s Office of Aeronautics, which ensures the airports function as an interconnected system that meets Minnesota’s air transportation needs.
